Groups who once dominated the game because of their large numbers have slowly dwindle to shell of their former selves. Long time veterans and groups are leaving in droves because they are sick and tired of War of Rights and soon the majority will leave as well. Campfire Games is devoted to presenting the gruesome and glorious elements of the period, while maintaining the highest level of historical accuracy and realism as is possible with the wonders of CRYENGINE. The developers refuse to change paths and add content that will save their very own passion project. War of Rights is a multiplayer game set during the perilous days of the American Civil War, in the Maryland Campaign of September, 1862. They keep using the same excuse every time somebody brings up a legitimate concern or complaint and all they have to say is it is still in alpha.
Their recent beta launch of the round recap and end game historical mode was atrocious and exactly not what the community really wanted. A leading independent Film & Television group, Beta Film produces, finances and distributes high-end content for the global market, nurturing extensive partnerships spanning from public to private broadcasters, streaming platforms to special interest channels, production companies and top international talent, theatrical and video distributors to major film and TV festivals. Not only will they not listen to their community, they will ignore and punish those who dont side with them. They tried to create new and fresh gamemodes for us to play (picket patrol) but it was coded horribly and broken the majority of the time. They refuse to admit that they coded themselves in a corner and are unable to get out without help, this is why we are stuck playing the same gamemode and the same maps for the past 4 years. The developers refuse to listen to their very own community who spends time, money, and energy keeping their passion project alive. War of Rights is ambitious, its immersion and historical accuracy is second to none but the way its being developed is killing the game. Its not dying because its a bad game or because of the community, only Campfire games, the developers, are at fault. As a person who played this game since the days of drills camps 5 years ago, made countless number of videos, and ran the longest running Confederate regiment in the game, I can say that War of Rights is dying.
